Welcome to Saint Gregory Greek Orthodox Church!

Our beloved parish is the spiritual home of more than 150 Orthodox Christian families in the Rte. 95/495 area and a parish of the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Boston. Since 1991, the time of our parish’s inception, Saint Gregory has been known for its friendly, outgoing atmosphere and, especially, enthusiasm for sharing the Orthodox Christian Faith.

THE HISTORY OF OUR PARISH

Speaking of our timeless Orthodox Faith, the focal point of our life at Saint Gregory is the Divine Liturgy (literally, the “work of the people”). Together as a parish family, we commune with Christ and seek spiritual growth. We give thanks for our many blessings. Further, our ongoing challenge is “living the Liturgy” (to invoke the words of Father Stanley Harakas): to act upon the teachings of the Gospel and the transforming experience of worship. We are called, ultimately, to give hands and feet to our faith, bringing life and substance to what we profess.

At Saint Gregory, the long-time parishioner, new Steward member and spiritual “seeker” alike will be warmed by the hospitality and genuine friendship found among God’s people. This sense of friendship reaches far beyond our parish campus as well—we are heavily involved in local, national and international philanthropic and social action endeavors. Saint Gregory sees everyone as “neighbor.”

While you are visiting this site, I encourage you to look over the general and youth ministry offerings of Saint Gregory; there is, for sure, a full docket of educational and inspirational offerings for everyone, from Sunday School and our GOYA (Greek Orthodox Youth of America) teen group to adult catechism classes and seasonal retreats.

We look forward to worshipping with you soon at Saint Gregory (if you cannot join us in person one day, worship with us online). Visitors and guests are always welcome to join us.

In addition, Fr. Alex would be delighted to meet with you, whether in his office or via Zoom, to answer questions, help you connect to our ministries and offer general guidance for engaging parish life.

Again, welcome to our parish.
