Our congratulations to parishioner Alexa Kacloudis on a major athletic achievement!

Alexa, you have staggered the minds of your fellow parishioners. One or two medals, good, five or six medals, excellent, 122 medals WOW!!! An achievement of this magnitude is almost incomprehensible. Congratulations Alexa, you have done yourself proud and have the admiration and respect of all of us!!!

Re-framing of our Narthex Icons

Chanter Elias Demas stands adjacent to one of the re-framed Icons located in our Narthex. The framework around the Icon was a piece of work created by the talent of Father Onisie Morar of St. Johns OCA/Romanian Orthodox Church in Woonsocket RI. Father Morar, an accomplished woodworker, undertook the creation and mounting of the frames and was assisted in the installation of the completed work in the Narthex by Paul Bobotas and Louis Zagami. Our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to Father Morar who beautified both the Icons of the Theotokos and Christ child and Saint Gregory the Theologian with his God given and highly talented woodworking abilities.

Ordination at St. Gregory the Theologian Church

It was with much happiness and joy that we celebrated the ordination of Emanuel Chris ("Dr. Manny") into the Sacrament of the Holy Diaconate on September 26, 2004. Please click here for selected photographs from that celebration.

Following that ordination, Deacon Chris was ordained as a Priest on July 16, 2005 at St. Demetrios Church in Weston MA.

Parish Council

Our parish council is an eleven-member board which manages the operations of the church. Members must be in good standing with the church for at least one year and are elected for a two-year term. In their role as Parish Council members, they also share in the planning of future projects of the parish and gaining the input and assistance of the parish family members. Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 PM ~ all are welcome to attend.
