Welcome to St. Gregory The Theologian Greek Orthodox Church! I cordially invite you to not only visit our Parish by clicking on any of the following directory links, but to experience, share and worship, the Living Christ, by attending the Divine Liturgy.

The Orthodox Church has her origin with Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit, not with a human teacher, or group, nor a code of conduct or religious philosophy. Orthodoxy believes that the Church has her origin in the Apostolic Community called into being by Jesus Christ, and enlivened by the Holy Spirit. The Feast of Pentecost, which is celebrated fifty days after Easter, commemorates the "outpouring'' of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles and marks the beginning of the mission of the Church to the world. The Orthodox Church believes that she has maintained a direct and unbroken continuity of love, faith, and order with the Church of Christ born in the Pentecost experience. It is the Church of Christian history, the Church of Antioch where believers were first called Christians, the Church of the Corinthians, the Church of the Ephesians, the Church of the Philippians and the Church of the Thessalonians, among many others which continue to this very day.

It is the Church which has remained unchanged, not bowing to humanistic and secular reasoning! It has remained faithful to the inheritance of teachings from our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and passed on by his disciples in the four Gospels, the Letters and Sacred Tradition. Moreover, it is the Church which has held to the faith and caused a fourth century writer to exclaim that "it is the faith which has been believed everywhere, always, and by all"

The mission of our Parish is to serve the religious and spiritual needs of all Orthodox Christians, Converts, those of inter-faith marriages, and the 'unchurched' living in the routes 95/495 area outside of Boston, Massachusetts, and especially, though not exclusively, those whose mother tongue is English.

St. Gregory the Theologian Church has been granted a charter by the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America under the sponsorship and direction of his Eminence Methodios, Hierarch of the Diocese of Boston.

May God Bless and always keep you in His Remembrance!
