Open after the Divine Liturgy Services on Sunday Morning
St. Gregory's Bookstore serves as a component of the Religious Education Department of our Church. Its purpose is to provide educational materials for the laity--materials which edify, enlighten and inspire. It is not intended to be a fund-raising project. Most items are sold at their retail prices, and are not marked up. The discounts offered by some publishers help to offset shipping costs, and sometimes provide a small net profit.
Parish religious education as exemplified by the Archdiocese Department of Religious Education is an all-encompassing "cradle to grave" program, not relegated only to Sunday School. It is expected to be the highest priority of the parish, second only to its sacramental life. Thus, it is the humble mission of our Bookstore to assist in the effort to have a well-informed, educated laity, who ultimately are the mainstay of an authentic Christian community.
Among our offerings are the highly recommended Orthodox Study Bible and a wide selection of Icons for the home or office. See you in the Bookstore!

BOOKSTORE NEWS
Many monks from Mount Athos live in kelia, which are small monastic communities for 2 to 5 people. They are sustained materially by their works, done with faith in the protection of the Mother of God, the Theotokos. One of these monks has handcrafted with patience and prayer several crosses, made of silk treated with gold. These beautiful crosses are ideal for hanging in your cars, trucks or vans, above a baby's crib, on walls at your personal home iconostasis, or for keeping them on your person.
We currently have 30+ crosses for sale in our downstairs Bookstore at a price of $10.00 per cross. A $300.00 donation will be sent to the monk at Mount Athos when they are sold. Please visit the Bookstore today!
